Armani Exchange Mixed Media Backpack

Firstly I would like to apologize for the lack of post. As to why I was gone for a month, basically, I went a for a few trips with my friends and family. The few places I went was simply breathtaking, places include Hong Kong, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. I do hope to be able to share these wonderful experiences with you guys. However, do give me some time to pick up on my blogging.

Stuff I got in the United States.

Honestly, a good vacation definitely consists of shopping. Everyone’s with me with this? Well, for myself, I have this habit of visiting the local brand of that country to get the best deals and comparatively cheaper price items of that specific brand. So it was no surprise I went straight to Armani Exchange during my trip in the states. Armani Exchange is super expensive in Malaysia, so honestly, I won’t spend the money in my own country.

I came across this lovely bag. Armani Exchange Mixed Media

Armani Echange

It was priced at USD198 less 40%. With that discount, you know I had to get it. Not had to, but I wanted to.

This is what the website describe it’s bag:
Crafted from a mix of leather, cotton and nylon, our multi pocket backpack is a a take everywhere kind of bag.
mixed fabricated
snap closure on front pocket
multiple pocket design
h: 19.0″ l: 14.0″
50% cotton, 50% nylon, 100% leather trim
imported
Well, for me, I am a fan of Armani Exchange and the design of the bag was what I wanted, so I got it. It came in 2 color. Blue and green, I got the blue one because it looked more elegant and more Armani-Exchange-style, if you get what I mean. The picture below shows the bag and it’s alternate color.

Let me know what you think about it. Yay or nay? Will post more stuff I bought from my holiday, believe me, there’s alot of them!

Kiel James Patrick

Before I start my post, I want to apologize for my lack of post. Haven’t been posting for 2 weeks. 2 reasons though: 1) my degree is finishing in 3 weeks time, workload is unbearable. 2) my house wifi was down for 1 week.

Enough with my swallow excuses, let me make it up with this and upcoming posts. Give me 3 weeks time and when I finish my degree, I will post more regularly.

Kiel James Patrick.
Ever heard of the brand? For those who did not, me neither. I recently found out that this brand existed after a kind friend of mine got me a gift from this brand. I must say it was lovely. Shout out to them! (#shoutoutsunday)

Something similar to this. I looked it up on the web and found out about this brand. By the way the anchor bracelet above: Cape Spencer Approaches, price: $38.00.

“The inspiration for the Kiel James Patrick brand was brought on by years spent exploring vintage clothing stores, antique shops and friend’s attics in search of the age-old quality, style and construction once easily found in American made goods.” Quoted from Kiel James Patrick. Visit their home page to understand more. (here)

Kiel James Patrick focuses more on accessories. From bracelets, belts to ties and bow-ties. They even have shirts. Most accessories are unisex. I actually love the vintage style of their accessories. It is not something that we can find so easily. Most brands do not focus much detail on the accessories made therefore it is interesting that I found this brand.

A glance through their items for sale and if you are kind enough, my Christmas wishlist. Feel free to get them for me. =D

Lucky-Sailor

Lucky Sailor, price: $85.00.

Briggs-Capeside-Docks

Brigg’s Capeside Docks, price $88.00.

Look how good the guys is wearing it. Vintage!

 Huck-Starboard-
Huck Starboard, price $65.00.

Mixed-Signals

Mixed Signals, price: $75.00

The-Great-American-Legacy

The American Legacy, price: $38.00.

Basically that’s that. I am in love with the new bracelet my friend got it for me. Would love to get more, but no stores in what I stay. However looking through the price range of these stuff, I must say it’s a little bit pricey. It won’t be something I would spend to much on, but I guess once in a while might be okay. Let me know what you guys think! Cheers.

Element Casing Ion 5 for iPhone 5/5S

Here is one for the gadget geeks. I was hunting down casing for my new iPhone 5S the other day. Yes, I finally got the new iPhone! =D Thank to my father which I am extremely grateful for! Back to this post, I came across multiple casing for iPhone 5. However in one of the Apple store, I saw this particular casing.DSC_0174

It looked beautiful, however was priced so high for an iPhone casing, RM 179 / USD 50. Dad eventually did get it for me, which I am grateful for, but I got it purely for the design. How it made my iPhone looked sleek while protecting it around the 4 edges.

The box wrote 5 points though:
High Impact resistant TPU Body
Genuine Carbon Fiber backing
Reinforced corners
Ergonomic shape for a positive grip
Integrated button design

Did some online research and found what the first two was talking about.

“The Ion 5 utilizes a high impact-resistant TPU material that in reality feels a lot like a standard TPU case of high quality. That said, the Ion 5 isn’t just any ordinary TPU case, but rather a precision TPU case because of its refined lines and attention to detail. The finish is what Element Case calls a matte rubber stoned finish. It’s got an amazing granular texture that provides great tactile grip when held, but won’t attract dust and lint – nor will it snag when put into a pocket. The material definitely feels exactly like SwitchEasy’s rubberized TPU material it uses on its Bonds and Tones cases.

Gone is the glossy and plastic-coated looking carbon fiber that for long has been the centerpiece of Element Case’s Ion and Formula cases. The Ion 5 is all about the natural sheen of carbon fiber and the unique looking pattern it brings forth. You can clearly see that looking at it from the back where a sharp looking large matte layer of carbon fiber occupies the majority of the surface. Although carbon fiber is durable, the clear matte coating that protects the finish isn’t. To help eliminate scuffing, the carbon fiber plate is slightly recessed in relation to the rest of the TPU body. So every time you set your iPhone 5 on a table or rub it around unintentionally, know that the carbon fiber will remain unscathed. A little attention to detail goes a long way. We really look forward to the release of a duo-toned Ion 5 case that’ll really make the carbon fiber centerpiece pop out.”

Both paragraph quoted from Gadget Mac. Read their review too, to find out more.

They say Ion 5 was design with a firm grip and shock proof which if I were to fall my phone, it will protect it. I would not try that though. Despite the higher price for this iPhone casing, so far I love it. It is nice in design as well as practical, would definitely recommend it! Let me know what do you think, or do you have any iPhone casing you like to share.

China Trip’s Acquisition

If you guys followed me on my social network accounts, you will know that I went to Xiamen, China whole week of last week. Therefore I apologize of not having updates on my blog, but here I am, back from the 1 week trip.

To be honest, I was not expecting to go shopping there, since I never been to China before therefore I don’t think there was anything to buy there. I eventually find myself at Wanda Shopping Complex so might as well shop! =D

H&M SweaterSweater from H&M.
Price: 249RMB / RM120 / 40USD

I guess the price is okay for this sweater, personally I love H&M but the designs in Malaysia is quite limited as there isn’t any other seasons here. China brought in some autumn fashion and I fell in love with the sweater. Love the design a lot and it wasn’t very pricey, so I got it!

Cameo ShoeCamouflage shoes from Pull & Bear
Price: 79RMB / RM40 / 13USD

If you are not familiar with Pull & Bear, it is a Spanish brand. Since 1991, it focuses on casual, laid-back clothing and accessories for young people with a very urban style, at accessible prices. This was on a discounted section and it was so cheap! I had to get it. I always wanted something similar to this. Topman sold something like this but was about triple the price of this. I think when a branded shoe is sold so cheap, it is worth it.

Stay tune for more updates and news on fashion. Tell me what you think of the stuff I got during my trip, like it or hate it?

Short Sleeve Shirts

Finally after a long gruesome semester, I finally have the time to do some shopping by myself. I did not intend to get anything at first, but there were sales throughout the store, so I had to check them out. I pass by Springfield and immediately fell in love with the shirt. It was something I intended to get for a long time, but couldn’t find the right cutting or design, therefore I got it instantly.

DSC_0010

I especially love the design and the blue of the shirt and it was the final piece! Therefore it is so much more worth it!

Springfield is an European brand. Even though it’s not my favourite brand, but I would often walk in to check out their new stuff. Springfield was founded in 1988 with the objective of dressing urban and cosmopolitan young men. Today, they are celebrating their 25th anniversary.

I like the young, hip and trendy style they produced but not too wild for the average men to wear. I believe if you are a male from the age of 13-30, the style would fit you well.

Check out more on their website. http://www2.spf.com/

I was not a fan of short sleeve shirts, never been a fan of it till recently though. I used to find it weird, because of some teacher who wore it wrongly in high school, but recently after having to looking at some celebrities rocking it, I became a fan. One of them is Louis Tomlinson from One Direction.

Louis Tomlinson 1 Louis Tomlinson 2

I love how he look so good in short sleeve shirts, so you can say my inspiration comes from him. Will update on my outfit of the day of my shirt, but have to wash it first. Let me know what you think of short sleeve shirts. Would you wear it or not?

Stuff I Got During the Weekend.

I thought it would be a good idea to share stuff I bought. It would be about what I got for how much so you guys can give in feedback, yay or nay? It could also be a good deal in town you guys can look up for.

One small reason for my lack of post last week was I went to Singapore with my family. It’s no secret of my love for Abercrombie & Fitch, so Singapore was the nearest place I could get their items since there isn’t one in Malaysia. I must say it was heaven on Earth there.

With my limited budget and the variety of items there, I manage to grab these 2 items that was shown below. A classic fit shorts and a classic checkered shirt.

20130529-021844.jpg

To show a clearer image, I took the photos below from A&F website.

A&F Shirts

Their classic checkered shirt that is mostly worn by the models and staff there is a must-have. To be honest, it was quite expensive but I got it from the clearance rack in A&F and it cost SG $76.90 (Singaporean Dollars)! It was cheap right? Roughly 60USD. Was so happy when I spotted this, though the size is limited. I wear a M, however if you ever want to buy them, the length of the shirt is meant to be shorter though.

A&F Shorts

Next, since it’s Summer, a shorts is in the must have list. From where I’m at, Summer all year, shorts are a must as well! Cost SG $108 (Singaporean Dollar), about 85USD. Not so cheap, but it has a nice material and cutting.

These are what I got in Singapore, hope this segment would be able to share my items I got, share the happiness and get comments for it! Till next time.
